Album Cover Design

Every type of musician uses album artwork to represent the collection of tracks they produce.  In the past, album covers were about 12 inches in diameter and consisted of beautifully illustrated scenes with intricate detail.  Currently we view album covers as a small digital icon viewed on our desktops and smart phones through aps like iTunes, Beatport, Soundcloud.  The size of these icons on our mobile devices can be smaller than a postage stamp, so it must be recognizable to the audience even in such a small digital space.
